1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all subscription plans offered by TaxNoticeAI, operated by Aanya Technologies. By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
2. Free Trial
TaxNoticeAI offers a 7-day free trial with limited features (3 notice analyses, 3 draft replies). The free trial allows you to evaluate the Platform before committing to a paid plan. No credit card is required for the free trial. You are not charged unless you explicitly subscribe to a paid plan.
3. Non-Refundable Payments
All subscription payments are non-refundable. Once a payment is processed, it cannot be refunded, in whole or in part, for any reason.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Monthly subscription fees
- Annual subscription fees
- Plan upgrade charges
- Any unused portion of a subscription period
We strongly recommend using the free trial to evaluate the Platform before subscribing.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made after the current period ends
- Your account reverts to the free tier with limited functionality
- Your data (notices, responses, history) is retained and accessible
Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any previous billing period.
5. Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email before auto-renewal. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue. Renewal charges are non-refundable.
6. Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. Any price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle. Continuing to use the Platform after a price change constitutes acceptance.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider instead of contacting us directly, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account. We encourage you to contact us at support@niftydesk.app to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a dispute.
8. Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional cases — such as extended Platform outages exceeding 72 continuous hours, duplicate charges due to payment processing errors, or charges after confirmed cancellation — we may, at our sole discretion, issue a partial or full credit towards future subscription periods.
